• WordPress supports multiple roles per user. We have been using WP Nav Rules but it only considers the user’s first or primary role when deciding whether the user is allowed to see a menu item. Does this plugin ( If Menu – Visibility control for Menu Items ) have the ability to display a menu item if any of the users roles match the permission condition or is it also limited to checking the first or primary role?

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in If Menu plugin!

Yes, can confirm that the plugin will check for all roles linked to a user.

For example, if a menu item is set for “Customer” and “Shop Manager”, the plugin will do a check like is "Customer" or "Shop Manager in User roles "Subscriber", "Customer", "Editor" and display the menu item because Customer matches.

    Hope this helps
