    Hi there!

Does you plugin also work on the frontend? That is, will the uploaded image (user’s profile picture) display on both the backend and frontend of our site?

There are several Avatar plugins that do not work on the frontend, thus allowing our frontend pages to display the Users’ Gravatar (not the user’s profile picture).

    Thank you!

  • Hi there, thank you for reaching out to the Stranger Studios team.

The Basic User Avatars plugin hooks into the avatar and avatar default filters to set the uploaded Avatar to the chosen avatar.

I would recommend testing the plugin out on a staging site though to make sure it suits your needs.

    Hi @jarryd-long,

Thanks for the quick reply. So, before we set up a staging site (time consuming) to test your plugin, is the answer “Yes” or “No”?

To help you further, we’re referring to the Avatar/Gravatar that appears on the frontend of a website (Admin logged in, incognito or standard browser mode). Specifically this.

    Again, thank you ??

Please disregard our request. We found another plugin that satisfies our requirements.

    Cheers!

It will reflect in the front end and back end where an avatar is used, yes.
