• Hi Ulf,

I know this plugin was last updated 8 years ago, but I’m just wondering if you think it might still work. I installed it on a test site, and I can’t make out how it was supposed to function. Do you just simply upload a zip file like any other file, and it should unpack automatically?

If that’s how it should work, then it seems like it’s no longer functional with the current version of WordPress (not surprised, it has been 8 years).

I see you’re still actively working on other plugins — do you ever plan to give this one an update?

    Thanks!

Yeah; you’ve got it right. After activating this plugin, any zip-files uploaded to a post were automatically unzipped and all its content added to the media library.

Back in those days WordPress didn’t offer bulk uploading, and life is too short to navigate the file picker interface for Every. Single. Photo. So I developed this plugin as a workaround – zip those images up and upload as one file.

Today we have drag-n-drop, bulk uploads and a shit-ton of bandwidth so this plugin makes little sense anymore. I don’t think I’ll update this, no. ??
