Hey man, great plugin – one of the best designs I’ve seen (I don’t really like customizing – it works great and the way it’s meant to). My question is – does it collect all the necessary data for rich snippets? I’ve put it on my biggest and most visited pages that get indexed very often and I don’t see any star ratings – it’s been a few days.

Have you ever been asked about a similar issue before? Thank you!

    Hi there,

I’m happy you like the plugin. A user sent me photos of rich snippets in Google a month ago and everything seemed to work great on his website. I also haven’t been asked about a similar issue before. You can test structured data here: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool but at the end it’s up to Google to decide whether to show rich snippets on your website or not. I’d give it a bit more time though ??

Hi, it also depends on the post type the plugin is using.

Blaz K. Can you please confirm what schema.org type you are using and if you include “BlogPosting” type since is the most safe and common for most site owners.

Other plugin developers used product or review type in their plugin and lead some webmasters to a nice Google Penalty for not using the BlogPosting schema.

    Regards

@manuelgonzalez99 the plugin uses Creative Work since it is the most generic. According to the documentation Creative Work also encompasses articles which can be further divided between news article, tech article and blog post. Here is a good explanation: https://yoast.com/structured-data-schema-ultimate-guide/#creative
