Hmm good idea. It should be like edublogs does – https://edublogs.org/signup/

I’ll add my todo list ?? Thanks for feedback.

exactly! having it popup just makes the experience seem more straight forward, at least i think so.

regardless, i just checked out ur plugin, looks perfect, but it would be ‘perfecto’ if it saves the user a step of having to click the back button in order to complete the registration – that is, if they even decide to read the tos.

here’s another idea: in addition to making it a popup, can u make it to where the user is ‘forced’ to click a box at the end of ‘You agree to terms of service by submitting this form. [] <<

maybe u can add it to your admin menu as an option??
    1. check here to add a ‘check box’ at the end of the tos line
    2. leave blank and the box will not show up.

and w/ #1 above, if the user doesn’t click the box they can’t register. that’s certainly one way to make sure there aren’t any excuses knowing what the tos are!

btw, r u aware of any issues with ur favicon or redirect plugins?

i’m in the process of setting up a mu network, seems like that’s what ur geared towards, and need a favicon plugin that can put the same favicon on all sites in the network, and the redirect just may come in handy for a few users as well.

    thanks again.

I want to keep simple this plugin. But we’ll see new feature.

Stay tuned for next releases ??

Nope, but favicon plugin designed for setting individual favicon per site.

i’ve got the plugin installed, so when i see an update for multisite tos, i’ll be really curious to see what mustafa added to it! thanks!

regarding the favicon, not to take away from your plugin, but r u aware of a way to place the same favicon on all sites? the only reason i ask, in this case, even though u rarely change it, it would save me many steps in the process, that’s all.

Ok. I’m marking as resolved this topic.

Maybe I need to update favicon plugin and network wide favicon would be optional feature.

    1) But you can do this very simple vay. Ex: https://fredrikmalmgren.com/how-to-add-a-favicon-to-your-wordpress-site/

    2) Actually modern web browsers automatically detect if favicon.ico exist on the root directory of site. Just try this.

If you need any future help, create new topic under the favicon plugin ??

that’s fine w/ marking it resolved.

yes, optional feature to network activate the favicon would be nice to have. ??

and i did see something like your link shows me, i had this on my to-do list, i only brought it up is because i noticed 1 of ur other plugins was adding a favicon to a mu setup. so i have now officially added that link to my to-do list, which is more like take up alcoholism sooner rather than later, because i’m not sure if i’ll ever finish the list but it’s there! thank you

mustafa, by chance, r u for hire to create custom plugins for a mu setup? not sure what i’ll need, just curious. and if u r, knowing what u know about mu with have written a few plugins so far, what do u think would be a really cool plugin to do that no one has done so far?

sounds good. it won’t be for a little while since i’m not sure how soon i’ll be at the point where i can explain to someone everything, in detail, of what i’m looking for. in other words, i don’t want to waste anyone’s time until i know what i need.

in the meantime, i’ll keep an eye out for the optional feature of favicon…maybe? ??

it was nice chatting w/ u
