  • Automatically *restore* (not backup) the database?

    Presumably the idea is that you know your website shouldn’t change, or you are testing something, and want to keep rolling it back to the same state?

    If I’ve understood that rightly, then the answer is no; we don’t have any automated restoration features. At this point I don’t think they fit into our roadmap. But if you have access to the server at a shell level, you could perform them via a scheduled task/cron job.

    Yes, auto-restore, I update local DB to live on a daily basis, however I’m pretty close to achieve this, just wanted to see if it exists already…

    OK. What you can do at this point is to make a backup on local, then drag-and-drop the database file that results into the relevant drag+drop area of the “Restore” section of the live site. Then you’ll be able to restore using it. You’ll want the Migrator add-on if you want to automatically search+replace the URLs in the database.
