Doe’s it count the other links rather than Content Links

I am using this plugin for the internal linking. But I found it is counting only the links which are manually did and not linking automatically. Since I have added many keywords and tested with fresh post which was not auto linked. At the same time when I have linked manually then It is counting the link. Is there any user Guidelines to use this tool. When I am adding the Internal link limit with higher value also it is not responding for that.

Let me know How to use it.
