    Hi,

Apologies if the title is quite vague but I ran out of characters to fully explain the problem.

We have a website which has a high amount of orders per hour. Last month, we installed the plugin, Disable WC Admin as the scheduled actions responsible for importing the data were delaying other plugin operations on the site.

We have recently re activated the WC Admin and need to import the previous 30 days of data. I can see in the settings page, there’s an option to import the ‘Last 30 Days’ to import but this throws up the error ‘there was a problem rebuilding your data’. If i then refresh the page, i can see it defaults back to the ‘All’ option and runs without any issues.

My question is, if i leave it on ‘All’ will it eventually import the missing 30 days of data? Currently, it is only importing the latest orders which are being placed on the site? Ideally, it would be good if when there are no orders being placed on the site, the WC Admin will schedule the previous missing orders.

    Hi @lippiun ,

The short answer is that it may. If the order data is still good in your site, then it should. However, if there is a problem rebuilding the data, it’s likely due to a problem with the source data in the database, and the import will probably throw the error again when it hits the same spot.

You may want to check for any fatal errors in your WooCommerce logs under **WooCommerce > Status > Logs > Select – Latest Fatal Error Log under drop-down (right side) > Click – View button**. That may give some clues as to where the error lies.

    Thanks Mike,

I’ve checked the logs and can’t see any errors. I’m wondering if the issue is more related to the object cache WP Engine has running on the site as sometimes the import works if i delete the object cache and try again. However, it doesn’t always work. Do you know if there’s any possible conflicts with caching? And if so, is there anything i can exclude?

    Hey @lippiun ,

Caching can definitely be an issue, especially if there’s cached database information on some tables and not others or if they’re out of sync.

Normally the caching issues we see are the page caches for the Cart, My Account, and Checkout pages, but caching plugins can sometimes do odd things.

Would it be possible to temporarily deactivate that object cache while you run the import?

Just so I have a better idea of your site, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
