Does Google WMT only look at a sitemap that is submitted, even if I have two?

    I have Google XML Sitemaps and Yoast SEO running on several of my sites. On one of them I have Yoast’s Sitemap enabled AND I have the Google XML Sitemaps plugin installed and enabled. I see on Webmaster Tools that the Google XML Sitemaps sitemap–not the Yoast sitemap–is the one that is submitted and accepted to Webmaster Tools.

    My question is, does Google only look at the sitemap that I have submitted, or does it see both?

    I’m being cautious on what to do next because I’m ranked #1 for my term and I have beautiful sitelinks showing up in Google search. I don’t want to disrupt this. My first inclination is leave everything alone since it’s working. But if Webmaster tools is just looking at the Google XML Sitemaps sitemap that has been submitted, maybe I should disable the Yoast sitemap function. But I just don’t to screw anything up.
