Does Google Places actually pick up the reviews generated by WP Customer Reviews

Yes, they do as of about 3 weeks ago. Look at the places page for Zeta Hair: https://maps.google.com/maps/place?q=zeta+hair+green+valley+az&cid=13151321579457189188

Under “Reviews from around the web”, you will see zetahair.com listed ??

Thanks for your response! Well, yes, under “reviews for around the web” the link to their website shows up. However, the only reviews most people read are on the main places page, and for total number of reviews it still registers as 0 (no stars next to the name in google maps). So, while I see that google notices it, I just think a google review on google itself is worth 10 times a review that is only visible under “reviews from around the web.” Any thoughts about how to get google to put those reviews on the main places page, like they do with some other sites like city search, etc.? ?? Thanks a bunch!

Hate to tell you this, but Google no longer shows 3rd party reviews on Places pages, only links to the reviews. Here are a few articles from last summer covering the change:
