Does FooGallery support search term filtering?

    I’m not a subscriber yet, I’m looking for the right gallery plugin to meet our needs. I have a few hundred photos of projects our construction company has done. There are some more notable jobs that I don’t necessarily want listed as a filter as it’s usually the name of a client.

    Is it possible to have a search bar that I can use to access photos with certain tags? Kind of like this page: (https://www.dongardner.com/gallery/photos#)
    It’s a bonus if it’s more dynamic and doesn’t require a new page load like the filters in the FooGallery demos

    Also, while I’m here if it’s allowed, I have a few other questions:
    Is there a max cap for how many images are allowed in a single gallery/page?
    Is there a maximum number of filters allowed?
    Is it possible to categorize the filters? (For instance, Interior > Living Room | Exterior > Contemporary > Steeple Roof | Interior > Color > Brown)

    Thanks for contacting FooPlugins.

    The filtering we have in FooGallery Pro is fairly new and will be improved over time. Right now we don’t yet have the ability to include a search bar of any kind – we only support the filtering based on tags.

    We will be continuing to expand on and improve the filtering functionality over time and are very happy to take suggestions but right now what you can see on our FooGallery demos page is what we support at this time.

    Just as an additional thought – the example page you linked is based on a custom post type rather than a gallery plugin which is why it is able to offer so much more functionality – the search bar, drop down filtering, advanced search options etc. I’m not sure if there are any image gallery plugins available that offer all of these features yet?

    We’ll continue to improve FooGallery over time with new features and functionality though so please do feel free to keep giving us feedback and we’ll definitely consider new features and improvements.
