  • On the Premium version ($19 for a single site license):

As long as your users are logged in (within the same browser) to a Google account that does have permissions to view the folder, they should be able to view the items you embed.

On the Enterprise version, with interactive embedded folders (license relative to your Google Apps domain size):

It is also possible to use a ‘Service Account’ to display the folder listings, meaning that the user doesn’t have to be logged in to Google at all to view the list of files. However, to be able to do anything with the files themselves, either (i) your files need to be shared as ‘Anyone with the link can view’ or (ii) users login to a Google account that does have permissions, at that point.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Dan
