Does ETOC only jump to H tags?

    I was thinking it would be nice to have a line to my comments section, but I don’t want to put H tags on my comment header. Is there any way to do this?

    Yes, the TOC is generated only from heading tags. Sorry, but there is not a method to add custom TOC items at this time.

    could I pay for a customization? should be super simple. My theme is already adding an anchor for #comments

    Sorry, but I am not currently providing customization services for ezTOC. You may wish to try a service like Coadeable.
