Does DHL automatically receive an order when someone buys something?

    I work for an art gallery, and if a limited edition print needs to be created we don’t want DHL to automatically start creating a shipping delivery for it. My fear is that someone will order something and then the DHL man will turn up and it won’t even exist yet!

    We also want to know if we can just have something like Economy Delivery and not have the things like 2 Day Shipping! with an estimated delivery time, because it will always be dependant on the artwork or artist.

  • Hi,

    When a customer place order the plugin only retrieve the rates for shipping, no shipment order is created there, DHL will not get any notification.

    DHL will get the notification only when you create shipment from the order backend and request DHL to come and pick up the package and these features are available only in the premium version of the plugin.

    We are in more than one location, are we able to set more than one pick up location or will it just pick up from one?
