Does converting more than 1000 posts into Gutenberg affect SEO?
-
Is there any SEO expert here? I need your help.
So, I am planning on switching from the Classic Editor to Gutenberg. This means that I will have to refactor most of my posts, as I have more than 1000 posts dating back to 2016.
I am in the process of converting those 1000+ posts into Gutenberg (block editor), which will result in the posts being marked as “updated”, even though there is no change on the content.
That’s correct. The posts will be marked as “updated,” but there won’t be any changes to the actual content; it remains the same. Is this considered deceiving Google or not?
I was wondering if updating content like this is against google rules?
If I make this conversion on a large scale, will this action affect SEO in a bad way?
Thanks.
