• I’m thinking of using CF7 but it hasn’t been tested with 3.0. Does anyone have any experience of the two?

    Thanks

  • @webjunk You can see the error here: https://delugeband.com/booking. Sounds like the same error everyone else is having. I definitely appreciate any ideas you may have for a fix!

I can only answer @deewilcox as they gave a link. What I can tell you is the link over your Submit button seems wrong. It gives the link as:
    /booking/#wpcf7-f1-p19-o1
whereas several of my installs have the link as:
    /contact#wpcf7-f1-p23-o1

You seem to have the extra “/” after the page name which is from the Form action. First confirm that the page you have for your Booking form is indeed Post ID=19. and you are using Contact Form 1 and that exists in the Contact admin area. Also try making a small change to the Contact Form and Save it.
Just seems like it is not finding the form properly or the attributes are not properly set for that form in the database. Then we can go on from there.

Hi, I seem to be having the same problem as others where the arrows show up spinning and the message is sent correctly, but the user interface doesn’t reflect this — it seems like the form is stuck with arrows spinning next to the Send button.

One example can be found here:

    Thanks for any help!

yes I’m using it right now

I also get the never ending spinning arrows. I have tested this on firefox only. I have wordpress 3.0 and most current update on CF7 – all was working fine until the last upgrade on CF7.

I still get the client email, but they think the form hasn’t submit. There are no error messages, just the nonstop arrows.

You can see it here to test: https://www.nuanceoccasions.com/contact/

@webjunk Thanks for catching that — I wouldn’t have known to even look at it. That is the correct page ID and the correct form. I also tried changing the form and saving it — no luck. For now I’ve disabled javascript for this plugin, so it submits, but I can’t get a redirect to work.

Just a quick note that the latest update resolved the issue for me. Form submits fine and gives client message that the message was sent. Thanks for the update to this great form.

My ajax post response is a bit different from @jabbett’s:

<b>Notice</b>: Undefined index: name in <b>/home/content/w/y/o/wyoadmin/html/apps/guidecache/guidesite/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/classes.php</b> on line <b>292</b>
    {“mailSent”:true,”into”:”#wpcf7-f1-p79-o1″,”captcha”:null,”message”:”Your message was sent successfully. Thanks.”,”onSentOk”:null}

Message does get sent, but due to this error the interface isn’t updated to indicate such

    Thanks for any help!

The only problem that I noticed with the upgrade from 2.2.1 to 2.3 is that the email response HTML formatting is all jacked up. I just noticed the difference between formatting a form that I use on several sites and the messed up formatting in emails are the ones that came from the 2.3 version plug-in.

If anyone knows of a solution for this, I’d love to hear it.

    Thanks,
    Dan O.

@ifsabutlerweb It has been fixed in the development version. Try this.

Good news I have solution ……
I used WordPress 3.0.1 and Contact Form 7 ver. 2.3.1, and I have same error that deewilcox. Email are not send when you submit.
It is a syntax adress error, it necessary to change permalink parameter to default
    https://delugeband.com/booking/ Syntax error
https://delugeband.com/?page_id=124 good syntax with number id

To modify go to Dashboard, Settings, General, Permalinks and valid Default
Save changes and it is OK.
You can see menu at this link

    Have a good day !
