Does Changing Username Change All Links

Please note the name you’re mentioning is not a username, it’s mentioning Nicename. Read this support topic. Here are explained the differences between those:

Regarding your main question, yes. If you change the Nicename the reference will be changed as well. Exceptions are only the Nicenames mentioned in the post content, here the references will not be changed there.
