Does Away mode works?

I have limited the access to the control-panel by set up Away mode.
It should close between 19:00h and 09:00h but I have receive several lockout notifications about persons trying to enter, but they only state using wrong username or password. And I have no problem to enter on my own pc.

PS. it would be nice if it was possible to immediately shutdown any attempt using “admin” and block both host and user indefinite.
