Does a Technorati Tag plug-in still necessary?

  • With the latest WordPress, the posts’ categories will be used automatically as the Technorati tag.

    Shouldn’t the post tags be used instead of the category?

    Do you guys still install WP-Tags-to-Technorati plug-in or others to convert your WordPress tags to Technorati tags?
