Docxpresso was working fine, and then after WP upgrade ceased to display the document. Uploaded and placed link just fine ?? file to be inserted seems fine as well.

Previously uploaded files can still be placed and used, but not newly uploaded files.

I have done some more testing.
This doc does not seem to work at all (when downloaded as odt, even when opened as ODT with LO and saved again): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qWb7UNmO5wTCQaUIyrc64FhrH_t2qM7MoffusrHzhlc/edit?usp=sharing

But very simple documents still appear to work.

I have changed fonts and tried a variety of other options, but cannot get the odt downloaded from Google docs to work.

With additional testing it would seem that Google Docs has done something to the odt that causes docxpresso to fail to see any text. It apparently does not show up in LibreOffice, because I can open the doc in libre office and edit to my hearts content, and it won;t work, but if I copy the text and insert into new LO document with formatting removed, all of a sudden it works!

    Hi,

Could you send the error from the logs?

I think that would not be as productive as you simply using the file link I provided ?? since that way you can play with it to your heart’s content. Just download that file as odt and try to insert.

If you have the same experience you will see the result in your logs. If you have a different result…

Hi, I think the problem is caused by the image inserted in the file, as it is too big with a resolution of 1456×933. If the image is reduced, I don’t get any more errors.

    Greetings.

    Dear Javier,

It may well happen that in a shared hosting you may find “memory limitations” with big document files.

Good to know that you were able to sort out the problem.
    Regards,
    Eduardo
