.docx files throw errors

    If a user attempts to attach a .docx file as a resume, it throws an error: “Error in submitting your application. Please try again later!” We are not the only website experiencing this error, either.
    According to my settings, the ‘allow .docx’ box is checked. PDF and .doc work fine.

    Hi,
    We have tested this issue but couldn’t replicate the same. Can you please share these details?

    • WordPress version
    • WP Job Openings Plugin Version
    • If you can link to the document file

    Also, please go to Settings > Form > General and click Save Changes and test again to confirm this issue.

    Wordpress 5.1, WP Job Openings Plugin Version 1.2.1.
    Any document will do. You may test it on our website https:// timesystem sllc.com/job-openings/ (remove the spaces, I have added them to prevent spam).
    Confirmed, the issue still exists.

    It looks like a server issue. Some hosting providers restrict uploading Docx files due to security issues (One such example is GoDaddy). Please confirm it with your hosting provider. One way to solve this server-side issue is to only allow resumes with doc/pdf extension.
