Documentation question

Hi,
I’ve been looking up and down for the documentation on using this as a front end to edit Pods custom post types with meta based custom fields.
I think this is the right Caldera tool for this but I just can’t seem to understand how to start passing the ID to this form and setting up the form to tie to the various Pods custom relationship fields (some of them lookups, displaying post_title or other meta fields as the selector).
The links on Calderaforms.com take me to a general description of the plugin, and this sounds like the right one to set up a front end post type editor, but would you please let me know where the usage docs are, or send me in the right direction to do the above?
