It’s a new plugin, needs work yes… deserving of 2-star rating? Me thinks not. How can we improve it to motivate you to reconsider your rating?

At the very least you need to tell people what the [shortcode] is and explain how to insert maps / etc into posts and pages.

I bet a lot of people have installed this plugin only to experience frustration at there being zero documentation explaining how to use it.

The bottom line is: until there is at least some very basic documentation, people should not bother trying to use this plugin.

I totally understand your frustration there… when I install any plugin the documentation, screenshots, and videos are very helpful to understanding how it works and how to set it up.

I admit the plugin lacks in those areas right now. I will make the effort to create the documentation and videos as I can, but please understand this plugin is Open Source and young in it’s development. Despite that, please expect in the near future helpful docs and screencasts.

Awesome, I am sure many people will find those helpful. Ill happily change my rating once I am able to actually figure out how to use the plugin (i.e. once there is a minimum of documentation available).

Cool! I’ll post back once there’s something tangible in place explaining usage, etc.

Any update on this? I wasn’t able to find any online help with setting this up when I tried to use the plugin a few weeks ago, and was hoping there might be something by now.

    Hi @pvijeh and @ginabegin

We just pushed out a really significant update, created a demo site, and wrote lots of documentation. I think you’ll both really enjoy the new version and support and documentation you’ll find now. Here’s some links:

We’d love you both to reconsider your review (or write a new on @ginabegin )

    Thanks!

Ah, thanks, @webdevmattcrom, but unfortunately I’ve decided to go a different route with the design for the business site I was working on. I understand how things can get hectic with getting things working, so I appreciate the reply! In the future I may have need for it again, so I’ll make sure to check back in. ??
