On the page “USPS Shipping Method” (https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/usps-shipping-method/) the instructions are very straight forward – yet the plugin is not working as expected.

I have setup a brand new WordPress installation with ONLY “WooCommerce”, “Jetpack by WordPress.com”, and “WooCommerce Services” plugins installed (and all three are active.)

I also have the site connected to JetPack.com.

However, under the section “Setup and Configuration” – step 3 says “Select USPS from the dropdown, then Add shipping method.” there IS NO “USPS” option in the dropdown.

Are there steps missing from this documentation – or the documentation wrong? Or does this plugin have a bug / defect?

Hello there,
The documentation you are looking at is not for WooCommerce Services, but for our USPS extension: https://woocommerce.com/products/usps-shipping-method/

The USPS shipping method has been removed from WooCommerce Services long ago. It can provide you with USPS shipping labels if you use our USPS extension for shipping methods.

This one is specifically for USPS Shipping Method. Basically, the documentation is for a different extension altogether, as opposed to WooCommerce Services Documentation.

That said, if you’re seeing that the WooCommerce Services extension is referring to USPS shipping method extensions documentation in any place, please do let us know and we’d be glad to further investigate.
