Documentation About Product Types

    Hi,

    I’m unsure which product type to choose. We’re currently using a virtual product, but as legal checkboxes are available for digital products or services only (without pro), we might switch to services instead, which seems to be part of Germanized.
    What are the technical differences between these product types? Is there a documentation where I can read more about the product types and find out if it’s safe to switch?

    Hi there,

    marking a product as “service” does not adjust the product type. You can safely mark any product (via the checkbox on product edit page) as a service and use the legal checkbox explicitly for those products.
