• Subscribe to our newsletter:
  • Sets the user to Subscribed in the Mailchimp Audience.
  • User can receive any type of marketing emails.
• Unsubscribe from our newsletter:
  • Sets the user to Unsubscribed in the Mailchimp Audience.
  • User will not receive any kind of marketing emails.
• Receive Order Updates:
  • Sets the user to Transactional.
  • User becomes eligible for transactional type messaging such as abandoned carts and order updates.

hi where can we go to change the wording of those 3 options? i am trying to locate it in plugin settings, woocommerce, mailchimp… thank you

@wwwireforks I’ve raised your question to our development team in regards to customizing the copy for the subscription status options.

Would you be able to also provide us with a bit more insight on what rather the options say? And also in other context. This may prove helpful for any other upcoming changes we may consider.

The 3 options now appears in the My Account section without much context. (Immediately after/next to ‘change password’ section for me.) It would be great to give it a title (eg. ‘change your newsletter settings’ or something, so it’s clearer what the options are about).

I don’t know what exactly the options should say yet, but some freedom to say ‘I want to receive news and offers’ or ‘I don’t want to receive news and offers’ for example would be ideal.

As per the above original conversation ‘Receive order updates’ could for sure be improved to convey meaning better ??
