    Hi

I have three parent folders, Documents, Forms and Policies. The ‘policies’ folder is where I have the issue. The other two work perfectly.

When I select ‘Policies’ I have six sub folders. When I click on any other the six sub folders and see the documents within them, the back button (blue arrow) shows the name of the sub folder you’re already in, not the Parent.

If I click on the ‘Forms’ parent folder and click on a sub folder, you can navigate back to the parent folder using the blue arrow.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

I have stumbled upon the issue.

For some reason in the database (wp_options>mdocs-cats) the parent for each of the sub folders were set to the incorrect mdocs-category. Once I changed them to the correct category in the DB and refreshed the page it started showing the correct parent.

Hopefully manually changing those entries hasn’t broken anything else. I’ll keep an eye out.

have you been using mDocs for a long time? There was an issue with older version that cause what you are describing, but I had thought I had figured out the problem.

    Hi bhaldie

Yes we have been using it for nearly two years now and this has been an issue for quote some time. Only just got round to sorting it out.

I haven’t created any new folders since we set it up either so not sure if it would have happened on a brand new category and sub folders. I’ll let you know if it does.

All new folder creation should be all good, it was old folder that had the issues.

Hopefully all will be good moving forward, let me know if you are still experiencing issue and I will look into the folder problem again.
