• Hi, Paul! I’m working on an event that runs throughout February, and they’d like to add Achievements for some custom post types (and/or post categories).

Obviously, the timing is a bit awkward! I can’t find the documentation for the old versions, and the new version doesn’t seem to have any yet.

Can you give me a hint on how to get started? I’m up to speed on CPTs and hooks; I just have no idea where to begin with Achievements.

    Howdy,

I removed the docs for the old version while I’m writing/organising the new builds. I can email you a copy of what was there, if you’d like.

What version of Achievements are/do you want to use?

I’d prefer to use 3. I’ve been reading the inline docs, but I don’t (yet) understand how I’d add my publish_{$posttype} action to Achievements’ list of extensions.

I can work with earlier versions if that’d be easier. Email is stephanieleary at Gmail.

    Thanks!

    Hee!

Since the event starts a week from tomorrow, can you go ahead and send me the old docs, just in case I need to get started before you’re done?

Not written yet, but I’ll update you once it is ??

I meant the doc for the old version. Is the technique of integrating to other plug-ins going to change in 3.0 compared to the old version?

Ah hah. Yes. I’ll send over later.
