Docs list can only be viewed by site administrators

    Hello

    I have a problem with Buddypress Doc. I would like to show list of documents by tags with

    …/docs/?bpd_tag=mytag

    The same problem if they go to mysite/docs/

    This works only for administrators but others roles unfortunately don’t see list of documents

    With direct link to single doc they can read it

    If I switch users to administrator role they can see list

    I deactivated all possible plugins , but it didn’t work

    Any idea what is going wrong? It looks like some problem with permissions

    Hi @rossellam,

    I can’t reproduce your error–if a user has access to read docs, they are shown on my tag view, like at /docs/?bpd_tag=green.

    Can you verify that there are docs that any user should be able to see/read? BP Docs filters the list of available docs all the time based on the access settings set within each doc itself. Administrators can see every doc.

    Actually if I publish from administrator, users can’t see list. I need to edit and save documents again in order to show list. Weird behaviour as well

    Are you saying that if you create docs using the WP-Admin dashboard area, then docs don’t work as expected? I’d believe that, because the permissions and user associations are only properly applied when the doc is created from the web site’s front end, like at https://yoursite/docs/create/
