I have the latest version of WordPress.

I was checking my broken links section the other day when I noticed about 90 warnings.

All were Youtube videos no longer appearing on my blog, but the links to the videos in the link checker worked.

The Youtube videos embedded in those posts used <object/> tags for embedding.

I changed a few to use the <iframe/> tags now provided by Youtube for embedding and the videos reappeared.

Since the videos that now no longer appear in the posts are listed under “Warnings” I am wondering if this is a temporary condition that Youtube will fix or if I need to update 90 something posts.

    Thanks for any info.

  • You will have to update your posts. YouTube made several changes to how you embed videos, and iframes are now a recommended way to embed videos

    No I have not.

My blog is running on HostGator, I don’t have access to change the PHP on their servers.

You can select PHP version using Plesk control panel.

For more info ask HostGator support, they can help you with switching PHP version.

HostGator is not good hosting server from my experience.

My client have hosting before and all the malware in php files and also slow server speed.

Need to check thoroughly.. If you trust me i can help you to do free of cost.

    thanks

Thanks for the tip, I found it in their cPanel. Their highest version only 7.1, but the “you must update PHP” message in my dashboard went away. Thank you.

    In mine either!

I went there after being on Lunar Pages for years. Lunar Pages changed and I found it hard finding a host for just a person doing a personal blog.

My client have hosting before and all the malware in php files and also slow server speed.

Need to check thoroughly.. If you trust me i can help you to do free of cost.

I appreciate the offer. If you can point me to something to read as to what to do to give the site a checkup I will do it.

    Thanks much!

i can check your code and check why it’s not working and checked one page to resolve the issue and tell you what exact error or issue is.

Even i can check through remotely also if you need.

I will check cpanel panel and wordpress admin also to resolve the issue.

Even you have’t shared screenshot also.

    thanks

    what is your website.?

i have a another option to embeded youtube video lightweight means youtube video doesn’t impact your website page speed its lightweight.

Simply you can use <div id=”KLQUpIt-FZ4″></div> that’s it. No need to use embeded code of youtube video of example link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLQUpIt-FZ4

I want to make you happy with my skills to resolve your issue..

    thanks
