    Yes, this plugin support custom field.

    if a user type a city name (entered from formidable pro form), press search button, then further search by a taxonomy filter.

    No, this is not supported.

    FYI, I never use formidable plugin, hence I don’t know how it works. As for this plugin, it will work with any custom post type, custom meta field and custom taxonomy, no matter what plugin you use to create theme, as long as it follow wordpress standard to create these field.
