Do you need both the plugin and script?

    I’m currently trialling Plausible and I wanted to check, do you need to have both the plugin and the script? what’s the benefit of having the plugin installed?

    Hi kyarauk! You should choose between the plugin or the manual installation. You don’t need both. Plugin makes some things easier such as the fact that you don’t need to edit your theme files, it also excludes your own visits from being counted by default, allows you to view your Plausible stats within your WordPress admin dashboard and more.
