It is very important that I not violate any legal terms, laws, or standards compliance.

Please clarify if this plugin or anything pertaining to it collects any information relating to passwords or payment information, such as credit card numbers, account or bank info, etc.

    3.2. “Personal Information”

This refers to any information that you voluntarily submit to us and that identifies you personally, including contact information, such as your name, e-mail address, company name, address, phone number, and other information about yourself or your business. Personal Information can also include information about any transactions, both free and paid, that you enter into on the Website, and information about you that is available on the internet, such as from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google, or publicly available information that we acquire from service providers.

  • Every form that we scrape goes under a number of processes that attempt to identify sensitive information and blocks this information from being sent to Leadin at all. This logic assumes standard wording like ‘credit card’, ‘visa’, ‘amex’ etc and we have yet to experience a failing of this logic. We also include checks which detect if a form contains a password field and will ignore this field on the form.

In addition to this we are considering implementing a ‘kill switch’ of sorts which would allow you to add a CSS selector like ‘.leadin-ignore’ to any forms which Leadin should never track submissions on, and from then on Leadin will simply ignore any submission on that form completely. Does that sound like it would be an appropriate solution, in addition to the logic we already include?

    Thanks,
    Shay
