As you know, this message is now at the top of your plugin page:

The plugins menu position has changed, and can now be found under Tools > Site Health, where it replaces the Site Health feature included with WordPress 5.2

Yesterday when I looked at Site Health, it said I had a loopback problem. Today the loopback problem is gone.
And I didn’t try to fix it because I had no idea what was going on with your plugin.

Today I have this message: “The scheduled event, blc_cron_check_links, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.” Am I supposed to run troubleshooting for this? If I am, I assume that troubleshooting would tell me what to do.

And an interesting problem with Site Health or your plugin: Under Tools in the dashboard menu, it has a red “3,” indicating I have three problems. When I first opened Site Health, it stated I needed to update PHP. A few minutes later, the scheduled event problem showed up. What’s the third problem?

Do I need your plugin to fix these problems? Can’t I use Site Health by itself to fix these problems?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hiya,

The plugin enhances the version included with WordPress it self in version 5.2, and future improvements will be created for the plugin first before being introduced to WordPress it self.

The plugin isn’t required though, it just provides more tools and new enhancements before everyone gets them.

As for the problems you are describing, the loopback and scheduled events may just be a matter of timing, if the checks took too long to perform they may appear incorrect (we can’t do much about this in most cases, as it may just be a temporary slowdown of your host, or many other things, we often recommend running the check once more if that’s the case).

As for the badge with the “3”, this means 3 critical issues were found the last time the check was ran (this is done once a week automatically by the plugin, but it may have been resolved since then, so when you go to visit it, it will only show the remaining critical issues).
