    Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
    W3 Total Cache caches pages – the HTML content that contains the images. The Browser Cache adds expires header and cache-control header, however, since the source of the images is external (not from your server), W3 Total Cache or any other plugin for that matter cannot add the expires header or cache-control header to that image.
    Only images and other files that are served from yoru server can be cached.
