• My site publishes music and some titles come in variations for different ensembles. I created one product with appropriate variations, then I duplicated that product, because the second product would have similar variations. Now the slugs for the second product variations include the name of the first product.

I can’t see where the variation slugs are visible to the user, so maybe I shouldn’t care whether these are right. But, for clean data, I’d like to correct them. Should I bother?

Examples – two products and their variations:
    wordless-prayer-chorus
    product-868-variation
    product-868-variation-2
    product-868-variation-3
    product-868-variation-4
    bee-song-chorus
    variation-880-of-wordless-prayer-for-chorus-copy
    variation-881-of-wordless-prayer-for-chorus-copy
    variation-882-of-wordless-prayer-for-chorus-copy
    variation-883-of-wordless-prayer-for-chorus-copy

In case it’s not clear, the slugs with “variation-88n-of wordless-prayer…” are variations of Bee-song.
