As of I learnt from support forum, installing jetpack going to affect my site performance and slow down the website? Is there any option to overcome this? Also, can I test this in localhost xamp install before in actual website? Any help is much appreciated

    Hi @masspixitn,

As of I learnt from support forum, installing jetpack going to affect my site performance and slow down the website?

Jetpack doesn’t, on its own, slow down your website. Jetpack comes with a lot of features that, if poorly configured, can affect your site speed, especially when those active features overlap with what other plugins are doing for you. Some other external factors can also affect your site’s performance, such as sharing server resources with other resource-intensive sites.

Is there any option to overcome this?

The key to making Jetpack work for you is to activate only the features you need and ensure there aren’t any conflicts with other plugins offering similar features on your site.

It is also natural for your site to need more server resources as you add more functionality, so you can expect your site performance (with no changes to the hosting setup) to be affected the more features and plugins you add to your site.

Also, can I test this in localhost xamp install before in actual website?

Sure you can. You should be able to find some tutorials on the web about this.
