Do Theme Customizations Disappear IF . . .

  • I am currently using WordPress 2.9.2 with the SWIFT Theme with 3 Widgets
    and have made several customizations to it through SWIFT’s Options.

    I have found another theme that I think I would like to use, but before I install it to see if I want to use it, I need to know whether the customizations I made to the SWIFT theme will be intact if I decide to go back to it.

  • In theory, a theme’s custom option settings should remain in the database – whether the theme is active or not – unless you specifically reset them. That said, I’ve never used the SWIFT Theme.
