do the category invisible in beauty theme

hello everyone,
I use Beauty theme for my blog. In this theme, there is a slide show part on the first page. When you create a category and give the category id to ypur post, the pictures in the post seems in this slide show part.
the problem is this:
On my top menu, there are my categories. (I set this and I am happy with this)
But when I create a category for the slideshow, I dont want to see that categry on my top menu. because I created that category just for the pictures in the slide show.. There is no post.. So I dont want to see that category.
