Do synonyms work for searching custom taxonomies?

    I have a custom taxonomy term called “bar”

    I have a synonym like this
    foo=bar

    in WP Admin at edit.php i search for “foo” and i get posts tagged “bar” (WORKS!)

    but if I’m in WP admin at edit-tags.php searching directly in my custom taxonomy for a term “foo” i get no results (BROKEN?)
