Do redirects from this plugin pass link value?

    What method of redirection is used for the cloaked/redirect links? From SEO perspective, does this prevent “link juice” (search engine link value) from being passed on the landing page? Thanks in advance!

    Hi @jesseislil,

    Thanks for the question.

    We use a 301 redirect by default, but you’re welcome to change that to a 302 or a 307 via the settings in the plugin.

    I’d also recommend using the nofollow option on your affiliate links if you’re concerned about the links leaking link juice (though, this isn’t as much of an issues as it once was).

    The general rule of thumb that I follow personally is you probably don’t want to exceed 5-10 affiliate/advertising links on a single page load.
