    Hi there,

    A quick question – if I have a phone number on my PayPal account, when I checkout using the PayPal Payments plugin, should this phone number get retrieved from my PayPal account?

    From my tests so far, this does not seem to be happening. I’ve got a PayPal Personal Sandbox account but I’ve only managed to set up a Work number because if I set up mobile number PayPal wants to do 2FA and never sends the code – pressumably because it’s a sandbox!

    Anyway, on our site, phone number is mandatory – so ideally this would pull back to help expediate the checkout process.

    Hi @the_lar,

    We can only test sandbox accounts and phone numbers are not transmitted from there. Not sure about live mode, but I think it behaves the same. Either way, our developers are already investigating this issue.
    We will likely address this in our next major update.
