• Great Plugin (been using it for years) but unfortunately at the end of the year this plugin will become part of their subscription package. I would avoid using this on any new projects if you want support in 2019. Due to this change I will be looking for an alternative… Any suggestions?

  • I just 100% agree with you! Using this plugin for last 4 years and this simply is not acceptable. Too many wrong steps. If anyone have experience with similar plugin that work let us know. Thank you.

It has been announced a while ago:
    https://toolset.com/2017/11/types-plugin-is-moving-to-be-a-part-of-the-complete-toolset-package/

Toolset Types will receive more active development as well, due to this.

We do hope that this will benefit many users.

Reading the steady flow of 1 star reviews suggests to me that the inability to update past 2.3 has alerted your users to this introduction of a paywall.

Personally I was happy with the current level of development.

@venomphil there was a problem yes, which is solved now.

Removing the alert doesn’t solve the problem, it just hides the facts (from users that don’t read your blog) that this very popular free plugin will become premium in 2019.

My review still stands, I advice people not to use this plugin on new projects. Which echos the words of your CEO @amir (Amir Helzer) on December 14 2017 at 5:57pm

@venomphil, I just answered your question, that the problem which caused all those reviews (the nag of the update, which was explicitly asked to be removed immediately by so many users), is now solved.

I will surely not recommend you to use Toolset Types Free Version on a project that you plan to support for many years.
But for now, it is still a working, supported actively Plugin.

    Thanks ??

Still not sure how you can just remove people’s lifetime account – My plugin still confirms that ‘Your Lifetime account gives you updates for life.

    @venomphil you are confusing something

Free Types has no lifetime accounts. Toolset has.

You have a paid Toolset license and hence, you will receive any update to Types in future, specially if it’s lifetime, which we respect until we die for existing subscriptions but do not sell it anymore (I assume I do not need to explain why).

Let’s not discuss paid Plugin issues here.

I am not even sure why you are worried about the future development of Types Free Version?
You seem to have full access already to all paid tools!

Please let us know here if you need any help:

I hope I did not misunderstand something

    Thanks.
