Do NOT update to the latest version of the plugin, released Dec. 16, 2014

  • I updated it today, and the plugin immediately displays this message at the top of my dashboard:

    “Failed to fetch the new data from Google Analytics. Please reauthenticate on the settings page!”

    So, I followed the instructions, and still get the same error message. Over and over again.

    Sounds like there’s a new bug they’ve introduced. So DON’T install this until they get the bug corrected.

    Seems like the devs have been going bonkers with updates recently. Frequent updates are nice but there’s such a thing as too frequent IMO. Especially if they’re not fixing any critical (security holes, etc). I think they need to slowdown a bit, group fixes into bigger updates and test, test, test.

    Same here. Looks like we turned in to beta testers…
