We already support Persian (Farsi), just not by default. You will need a separate extension that will give you the ability to create a right-to-left layout and supports a font that includes the characters used by Persian language, which you can download here: woocommerce-pdf-ips-mpdf.zip.?

You just need to install it, as a regular plugin, and then activate it. Finally, change the template to Simple RTL, under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > General > Choose a template.

Let me know if it worked!

    @yordansoares

    Hello,

I am facing the same issue, but when I install WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips + mPDF, I can’t generate any pdf files anymore and get an error message that says: “Failed to load PDF document.”

    Thank you

@mahoofarah are you getting those errors with the “Simple RTL” template that comes with the mpdf extension, or is this with another template?

Could you go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and tell us what you find under the log named woocommerce-pdf-ips-mpdf-xxx with todays date?

@pomegranate I’m getting this error after activating WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips + mPDF with all templates (tried: simple, simple RTL, simple mpdf).

in the log file I did find two types of errors:

2022-01-25T09:22:23+00:00 CRITICAL Error detected. PDF file generation aborted: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool
2022-01-25T13:39:32+00:00 CRITICAL Cannot find TTF TrueType font file "DejaVuSerifCondensed.ttf" in configured font directories.

It looks like you may not have installed the plugin correctly, the DejaVuSerifCondensed font from that error is included in the folder so that error is strange. Did you install the plugin via Plugins > Add new > Upload plugin? Could you try reinstalling it (via those steps in the WordPress backend)?

Now it works by reinstalling the vendor folder.

    Thank You

Glad to hear that! You probably didn’t upload the entire plugin previously – this is why installation via WordPress is usually more reliable because you will not miss any files.

It worked fine for me too, did same steps above, we didn’t get any log errors thankfully

But I have a concern, are this extension will be affected in any bad way when an update arrive for the main plugin or it’s totally compatible with the main plugin?

    Hi @yuehlia,

This extension is totally compatible with our main free plugin, as well as the two extension, Professional and Premium Templates, also we also keep it updated, so you can install it with complete confidence!
