    Hey,

I implemented your plugin and used GA Debuger and Tag Assistant to see if all ecommerce data is recorded properly, but I can’t find any such data on my site

I activated the plugin and enhanced eCommerce in GA. Also standard page view tracking is hard coded into the header.php using a child theme.

I didn’t realize events are not recorded when logged into WP -_-
I see interactions are recorded now as well.

Update: I don’t see any collect.gif for step 3 of the checkout step.

However, I wonder if I found a potential bug. I checked the collect.gif files.
When I use a coupon that is unvalid (due to time out or such) Woocommerce redirects me to step 2 of the checkout process and provides me with a message. At the same time the plugin records a hit with checkout step 3. I’ll try to ellaborate a bit more with some screenshots in a different post.

    Thakns for the quick reply!

    Hi,

    Thank you for sharing access!

To avoid sending your own transaction data or sessions data in Google Analytics, our plugin doesn’t send the data to GA when you are logged in as an admin. Having said, if you are logged in as Shop Manager, the plugin will send the data to GA.

Additionally, our plugin is designed in such a way to track the Woocommerce Checkout Steps which we fired on the Checkout Page of your store, followed by the Cart Page.

We have classified the Checkout steps as per the different(& logical) part of the Page to identify the user interaction on that Page as well as the Drop-off.

So the Checkout Step 3 indicates that the user has completed filling the form and going to proceed for Payment process by clicking on “Proceed to Payment” button. So when the user clicks on the button it will be fired step 3 but in checkout behavior reports it will consider as a drop off from step 3 if the purchase failed or not redirected to the “thank you” page.

    Hope this Helps!

    Thanks & Regards!
