    Hello,

Please make sure that exactly Enhanced Media Library is responsible for the issue. Deactivate it and try if the search works. Then try to deactivate other plugins one by one. This helps to find a culprit.

Please let me know the result of your research.

If I deactivate it, I am afraid that the settings and filtering of files (media) by libraries will be lost.

    Hi @mikisweborg

As for the Enhanced Media Library don’t worry. You’ll get back all your settings and media categories (taxonomies). Do not delete the plugin, just click “Deactivate”, then clean up your browser cache, then try to search by name and let me know if it worked without EML. Then activate it back – everything will be in place.

Before I do what you wrote – let me show you this:

Search and filter work when I switch the line view of files (media),
and does not work when files are arranged this way:

    Hi @mikisweborg,

Thank you. I understand the problem. But, I cannot reproduce it. I need to know if the search “works” the same way when Enhanced Media Library is not active. It’s safe to deactivate it for a few minutes to test. If you use dynamic galleries and are worried about the front-end, just do it in non-business hours or on the development copy of your website.

Search doesn’t work even when I turn it off plugin Enhanced Media Library. I deleted the cash from the browser (Mozilla) – and again nothing. I can’t rule out supplement by supplement, I don’t have the nerve for that job. Thanks.

    Hi @mikisweborg,

If the search does not work even in case Enhanced Media Library is not active, this means that it is NOT Enhanced Media Library that is responsible for this issue. Unfortunately, to find a culprit you have to check all plugins or at least suspects.
