Do not know how to use it

    Hello!

    I am trying to use WP Trip Summary with Waymark and I do not know how to use it. I add waymark in post and I also add trip summary viewer in post but there is no any additional data in my post. Also on right sight of edditing post (with block editor) I have Trip summary block and there are two red crosses (sign) before text Trip summary info and Trip summary track.

    What am I doing wrong?

    OK…now it started working. I am not 100% what I did but now wehen I press Edit it shows window and there I can input all data. But I can not import GPX files. But this is different issue and I will create different topic.

    Hello @bumbar,

    You are not doing anything wrong, from what I can gather. Those red crosses indicate that there is no data for that particular section that’s managed by wp trip summary (Trip summary info and Trip summary track). Once you input some data for a section, it will change to a check-mark on a green background.

    Now, the data being input is displayed at the end of the post, if you do now specify another location yourself. You do so either by a shortcode (using the classic editor) or by a using a block (which behaves like a shortcode, when using the block editor). In either of these cases, the full preview is not rendered, but merely a marker showing where it will be displayed in the post view page.

    As for the GPX file import, can you send one such file that does not work, along with maybe the error message that wp trip summary displays?
