I have been going round and round with this all morning- I have tried de activating plug ins, flushing caches, activating and de activating blocks in the settings – and the bottom line is, I simply do not have tabs in my blocks on my pages. They aren’t there. If I have a feature deactivated, and I try to insert a pre built section, it typically does what it’s supposed to and tells me it’s deactivated and gives me the options of converting a block to html or going to activate it as it’s supposed to but for tabs? I finally got it to insert something after about an hour of frustration to get an *image* of the section.

If I try to build the section? tabs doesn’t come up in search.

I have WP Rocket, but currently have no scripts combined or deferred at all in case that was breaking things. JS and CSS are minimized- that’s it.

    Everything is latest version.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey,
In your admin have you disabled the tabs block? For example, look at settings > kadence blocks. Or if you have Kadence Blocks Pro installed look at the Kadence Blocks menu item in the main admin sidebar.

Also, make sure to check the block manager inside of Gutenberg, you can disable blocks there as well.

I have Kadence Blocks Pro- when i mentioned activating/deactivating it was in the Pro Blocks settings. I also made sure on the post itself that they were enabled if that is where the block manager for Gutenberg itself is found. If that block manager is elsewhere, I could use some help finding it.

Contact us via the pro support forms and we can get some more information to try and help you figure this out. We don’t have anyone else having an issue with a missing block so it’s possible there is something on your server conflicting, getting the console log report from your browser would be helpful.

I have no idea what happened but they are back – either the latest WP update or a cache clear finally got things working right again – at any rate I seem to be in business again.
