Do not display wordfence activity in dashboard for Editors

This has been fixed in 5.3.11 which was a hot-fix we released this evening. We are no longer showing this to anyone other than a site admin or, if you’re running multi-site, a Network Admin.

I just update to 5.3.11 but it still shows up at dashboard. I DO NOT want to show this at dashboard.Please fix it. Thanks!

Are you an admin? If so you can disable it under the email summary section on the options page. Let me know if you have any problems finding it.

I’m a super admin for a wordpress multisite installation. Following yesterday’s update the widget no longer displays on any dashboard other than the network admin’s dashboard. The check box for “Enable activity report widget on dashboard:” is checked, but, the widget only displays on the network dashboard. I did try to uncheck, save, then check, save the option. This didn’t make any difference. I’m running Wordfence Version 5.3.12 and WordPress 4.2. Thoughts?

This is by design. We had lots of people ask we remove the widget for all but administrators and to place it only on the network admin for multisites. Since Wordfence is only configurable on the network screens anyway, this seems logical anyway.
